What you need for this position:
- You are a technical generalist, ready to tackle challenges as they come up
- You are (or are looking to become) an expert at Ruby, Rails, REST, RSpec, and the rest of the Rails stack: Linux, SQL databases, load balancers, servers like Apache and Nginx ● You have a willingness to jump in at any level as needed (ie: coding, QA, etc)
- BS in Computer Science or Engineering
What you’ll be doing:
- Working with our acting technologist to transition technology development inhouse
- Working closely with team to build the next phase of our products. This will include identifying appropriate technology platforms and opportunities for innovation
- Managing communication and technology initiatives with external partners
- Leading strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives, setting timetables for evaluation, development and deployment of product
- Building metrics reporting/analytics to quickly gauge user response and understand user behavior
- Communicating company’s technology strategy to investors, partners and stakeholders
