This is Sourabh here from Amritsar. I got married last November to a girl from Delhi. After marriage, when I took her out for shopping in Amritsar, she was unhappy with the lack of variety of handbags available in this town. I’m sure you know how fanatic women are when it comes to handbags. Women want handbags to match with their dresses. And as the dresses keep changing (new ones come in), so do the handbags. It was this problem that got me thinking. And below is what I thought.
In tier 1 cities, people shop online mainly for convenience (variety as well, but to my mind convenience and saving time holds more weight-age than variety). In tier 2 & 3 cities, its the reverse. After 2 failed attempts at entrepreneurship, I thought of jumping in again and launched a new e-commerce portal focused on ladies handbags: https://www.flirtybags.com
