Job Description
At Mr. Homecare, we are looking to build a crack software development team including several Front-end Developers responsible for giving our customers the best CX possible and our users the best UX possible. As a Front-end Developer, your primary focus will be designing, wire framing and implementing front-end aspects of several external-facing and internal-facing web and mobile applications in coordination with our platform software developers. Some knowledge of platform and back-end programming and associated tools is therefore required, especially since our platform developers are expecting your intelligent feedback on branding, design and logic of all our apps. You will also be responsible for all kinds of small creative projects, from coding custom landing pages, designing branded invoices and other e-commerce documents of record, and designing marketing emails, flyers and posters.

Education: Formal background in design and graphics preferred but not required.
Salary: 3 to 6 lacs pa, negotiable depending on experience.
Required Experience:
- 2+ years working as a front-end developer as part of a high-performance web- development team, focus on CSS and Javascript code reusability and cross- browser compatibility and testing
- 2+ years working on responsive web apps or dynamic mobile apps, anything from video games to e-commerce or in-between.
- 2+ years experience wireframing using a wireframing tool like Balsamiq
- 2+ years experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw etc.
- 1+ years experience designing UX elements with a responsive javascript framework such as AngularJS
- 1+ years experience with HTML template generation
Recommended additional experience (any subset is a huge plus)
- 2+ years of experience developing UI for Magento or other ecommerce storefront
- 2+ years of experience developing UI for an ecommerce backend or sophisticated ERP or CRM
- 2+ years experience with WordPress
- 1+ years experience with emblem templates
- 1+ years of experience with NodeJS and related frameworks such as Meteor, Ember, ExpressJS
- 1+ years of experience with Linux systems administration
- 1+ years of experience with IaaS platforms like AWS
- 1+ years of experience working on projects with Javascript animations
- 1+ years of experience with dynamic and interactive data visualization using Javascript, i.e. D3.js
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of performant responsive web applications that look and work good on a variety of screen sizes across browsers and devices
- Integration of user-facing elements with server side logic
- Drawing wireframes and diagrams
- Other miscellaneous creative work leveraging the same skills
Required Skills
- Expert in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
- Expert in CSS3 templating engines such as Sass and Less
- Expert in Javascript libraries such as jQuery
- Familiar with designing for responsive web applications, have used eg AngularJS in production
- Expert in use of Adobe Creative Suite and relatable applications
- Expert in prototyping wireframes using eg Balsamiq
- Expert in drawing wireframes using eg Adobe Photoshop
- Expert in slicing wireframes into valid and easy to navigate HTML5 and CSS3
- Familiar with drawing enterprise software diagrams such as User Stories
- Expert in designing posters and flyers and other design projects
- Can draw well by hand
