Hiring CMO / Director Marketing for leading Ecommerce – Gurgaon

Currently we’re hiring for Director Marketing / CMO for one of the leading Ecommerce / Fashion Industry.

Experience – between 11 -15 Yrs

Location – Gurgaon

Education background – preferably from top B-Schools or equivalent

Preferably from Ecommerce/Fashion background

Role Overview:

  1. Formulating marketing budgeting and strategy building
  2. Handling paid media like Facebook, Google, Yahoo etc.
  3. Managing Social Media like Twitter, Facebook etc.
  4. Managing communication through EDM & SMS
  5. Increase company visibility through alliances, company branding, loyalty programs and CRM

Offline activation plan:

Key Performance Indicators:

The position will be responsible to:

  1. Own the company brand and take all measures to build, strengthen and sustain company’s image through online and offline marketing techniques as industry pioneer in the Ecommerce sector;
  2. Strategize for developing and strengthening the company’s marketing techniques for achievement of business plans;
  3. Represent the company on PR forums, as and when required by the management;

 Financial:

  1. Prepare annual marketing budget as per business plan, monitor performance & adherence, ensure minimal variances across all channels;
  2. Maximize revenue by aligning company website with the company’s business plan and its customers;

 Customer:

  1. Conduct market segmentation on the basis of customer portfolio, and develop department strategies for better customer reach accordingly;Work closely with all departments for stronger product marketing in each category and for maximum transactions per day across categories;

 Internal Processes:

  1. Periodical review of existing departmental strategies/ execution plan, identify overall alignment with business goals, and take corrective measures, if required;
  2. Develop, communicate and monitor monthly targets for the department through Social Media, Public Relations, ORM, Google;
  3. Periodical assessment of improvement in company’s brand image through monitoring customer feedback on social forums, develop plan of action, monitor compliance and significant changes in overall feedback;
  4. Periodical assessment of increase in customer database viz a viz increase in website traffic, evaluate monthly sales in each category, develop, implement & evaluate strategies to increase sales;
  5. Periodical evaluation of:

5.1   Products offered by the company v/s products offered by competitors w.r.t. popularity, gross margins and gross revenues;

5.2   Products expected by customers from the company, and not provided by competitors as per the price/ quality expectation of the customers

Learning & Development:

  1. Assess skills required v/s skill available in the existing team, and suggest training plan;
  2. Minimize role overlaps and maximize capacity utilization within the team;
  3. Develop succession planning within the team;
  4. Monthly performance reviews with team to ensure alignment between department’s goal and company’s goal;
