I need some help in deciding on a brand/domain name for a new online service that I’m soon to launch. This is an online SaaS application, in the Education Sector, focusing on Vocational Skill Development within India. The main consumers of this service would be individuals who seek vocational training and subsequently employment; training companies who train these individuals; & employers who hire those trained candidates.
Now the problem with choosing a meaningful and simple name (2 syllable, easy to spell, pronounce, remember) and a matching .com domain name, is that it is very difficult to find one that’s not already taken. Most domain names are bought and/or parked.
What approach should I follow in deciding on a new name?
– Mix of English and Hindi words that convey the benefit of the service?
– Full English word that conveys the benefit of the service?
– Full Hindi word that conveys the benefit of the service?
– A coined word that does not have any meaning but is short and simple?
Any other schools of thought??
