HungryBuddies (@hungrybuddies) was born out of a brainwave and a personal crave! Employees of companies in Noida were constantly ordering food over phone from the nearest plausible outlets. Some were delivered and some were not. Some took so long to deliver the order that the appetite was almost lost on teas & coffees and chips & biscuits. More importantly, most of the deliveries were too expensive for survival on a daily basis. For those with their eyes always set on their computer systems, it would be a blessing in disguise if their system could avail them a satisfying meal. Thus sprang the idea of putting a team together that surveyed at least six sectors in Noida. We came up with a directory of nearest dhabas, restaurants who were making quality food, were willing to arrange the sealing machines to hygienically seal the food thalis but didn’t have means to reach out to the customers.
