Inspiration….

We all go through a phase every now and then (unless your heart is made of steel) wherein we feel like giving up, giving in, getting away, losing confidence and hopelessly-insanely-madly angry at everything and everyone around us and most importantly at our own dreams and passion and ambitions.  We would be left with nothing but our insecurities, doubts, questions and inabilities to motivate ourselves to move further. It would be a lie if I say I have not felt insecure about my work, abilities or ambitions and I’d be no less than a joke had I just accepted that feeling.

Sure we all get affected by everyone we meet through family, friends or business and I hope we happily agree to be influenced by people we admire. Personally, I have a list of favourite people who elate my mood and help me focus on my dreams.  Right from Stephen Hawking to Indira Nooyi to Sachin Tendulkar and a lot of other people in between, I have more than few reasons to be inspired by them.

BUT… Of all the people on this earth, I am awed by the ambitions and pursuits of a spiritual seeker. For they go in to the unknown or less known, trusting nothing but their instincts. I on the other hand travel a well-defined path where the outcome would either be success or failure or like many of us – just experiences.  Well this is my very personal opinion, I find all the people with spiritual ambitions very inspiring for I on a personal level pursue a dream that has a result that I am used to – either through experience or knowledge: happiness, sadness, failure, success, money, fame et all but these people are pursuing something not many are aware of. They seek inspiration by thoughts from the deepest of their minds, heart and soul and pursue something they may have felt once or never but trusting their instincts and guts towards achieving it.

Royal salutes to all the spiritual seekers that make me not just live a purposeful life but boost my morale and enthusiasm to never give up.

PS: This post is dedicated to all those souls who inspire me not by talking, teaching or preaching but just by ‘being’.
