We are a Bangalore based startup with a product/service to enable cash payments. Called Kyash, the idea is to enable businesses (small and large) to get cash payments collected via a vast network of outlets. Kyash can be integrated as a payment option on websites. Businesses without a website can also use Kyash via the Kyash Sales App.
The inspiration came from the widespread network that telecom operators have built and to make a similar network easily available to any business that needs it. The solution developed does not require the customer to maintain a prepaid account, provides real-time confirmation and includes buyer protection features similar to online payment gateways.
Currently, our network consists of over 20,000 payment points across 1000+ cities/towns in India..
There are several use cases for Kyash, such as gifting/third-party payments, service/subscription payments, non-COD areas, micro-payments etc. We are looking for some feedback on the service and also some advice on the best way to promote the service.
