Let’s Insta 29 Days Of February In The Name of 29 States Of India #‎Feb29Days29States‬

Just because of my earlier exploration, #28Jobs28Weeks28States; when I say  #‎Feb29Days29States, don’t assume me going into another record of travelling 29 states of India in 29 days of February 2016! I am not doing it. Instead  I am exploring the social media platform Instagram through my picture collection 29 states.

It is not necessary that I will be posting pictures from my One Week Job India trip; because before starting that job hopping I had already explored nearly 19 states of India. When I look back, the photo album, I had a regret of not posting it on Instagram. So this is a small attempt to live again the journey through Instagram.

This leap year 2016 has 29 days of February that coincides with total 29 states of India. Let’s dedicate each day to a state. I am posting according to my OWJ trail e.g. 1. Haryana,, 2. Gujarat, 3. Rajasthan…….. 29. Madhya Pradesh. And I am requesting all my friends to post any picture of that respective state with a hashtag of #‎Feb29Days29States.

In 2013 when I started the journey it was 28 states of India. While I was moving from Kerala to Andhra Pradesh, I got the news that Hyderabad will be the common capital of newly formed states Telangana and Seemandhra. So the destination has been changed from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad. And when I finally completed writing my book it is officially now 29 states of India.

Social media always helped me to get a job and accommodation during my journey. The successful facebook and twitter followers of more than 20000 justified the same during the journey. But my followers are like me, they don’t expect me to be consistent on that platform.  The guy who can’t stick into one job more than a week, inconsistency is the only brand image, how can he stick to one social media platform :P. Few unfollows for the same.

[Ps – If you are browsing via a mobile device, click on the IN logo (linkedin) and directly view this deck on slideshare. The UX is much better 🙂 ]

After the 28Jobs28Weeks28States journey too, I had explored few social media platform like Slide share and they have featured my TEDx presentation in their home page for more than two weeks.

Even while exploring the platform Quora, my answer to “Which is the most beautiful state in India”  already crossed 30000 upvotes and leading as one of the highest voted answer on Quora. May be because travel is the new porn and DSLR is the new guitar these days on social media.

It is time to do a short time romance with Instagram. I need your help to create a buzz in this #Hashtag world. Please do suggest in this thread what else need to do promote all the 29 states tourist places in the global hashtag world. Please include this tag #‎Feb29Days29States. And to know which state photo you have to post, please follow me on Instagram. @Jubanashwa.
