This is Satish from Bangalore and Iam happy to showcase our venture ‘MeDine’ here. This is my first start up and have been actively running this for over an year, pivoting multiple times and learning on various experiments. At the moment we seem to be finding a product-market fit (or at least like to believe/assume so;-) Here is my sales pitch for all of those in Bangalore to download & use ‘MeDine’ app. For people in other cities, we are already working on getting MeDine there soon. MeDine: Get rewarded for eating!
How about getting rewarded just for eating? Yes, we do dish out rewards for eating. ‘MeDine’ is a (free) mobile app that automatically gives rewards to people for just walking into restaurants/cafes.
All you need to do is to just install the app (we do not even need you to do anything more) and it will start raining rewards. Every time someone walks into a MeDine partner eatery, the app’s ‘intelligent assist’ feature recognises that and alerts you to collect points. “So, you do not have any hassle to check out which places it’s applicable at , how many rewards for check-in etc. You simply tap when you’re alerted and the points will stock up instantly.” You can also rate and review dishes or order from the app and everything translates into rewards.
What can you do with these rewards and how ?
The rewards can be redeemed anytime against a host of shopping, lifestyle, e-commerce or utilitarian e-vouchers like Flipkart, Amazon, Lifestyle, Coffee Day, BookMyShow, Jabong, Shoppers Stop and Myntra. No, there is no-catch for these rewards like you have to have buy above Rs.X or do something etc, you get e-gift vouchers and it’s your prerogative to redeem them for whatever you may need. Once you have more than 100 reward points which equal 100 Rs, you can redeem them.
Its currently applicable only in Bangalore and with around 500+ restaurants live in the app, you are never far off from a check-in and from a rewarding experience through MeDine
