I am Puneet Aggarwal and Nirogam started as a personal passion for me.  I wanted to promote free, authentic, useful information on ayurvedic and natural remedies that would help people adopt a more healthy and holistic lifestyle.

Over the years we have evolved into a full fledged content and product destination for non-allopathic remedies.  In our ecommerce store we stock ayurvedic and natural supplements specifically related to the major maladies afflicting the general population, viz., diabetes, heart disease, infertility, weight management, sexual health and more.

Our mission is to be a content destination that is an authentic source of natural and non-allopathic information while at the same time providing healthy alternatives derived from our ancient past.  

We are bringing about a major push in the next 6 months with the introduction of some clinically-researched products in our own private label addressing the ever-growing diabetes and infertility market. These are exciting times, with plenty happening.

As a Tech Manager, we are looking for someone, who could : 

• Have a solid understanding and practical experience of web technologies – html5, javascript, mobile ecosystem, etc and should be able to determine the right technology fit for a given purpose. Should have strong knowledge of WordPress and Magento.

• Have a clear view of the evolving technology landscape and should be able to anticipate the changes we need to make to stay ahead of the curve, make recommendations for the changes, come up with a plan, and see it through its implementation.

• Monitor systems performance and identify bottlenecks and issues and take corrective action (this is primarily related to page speed at the moment but covers other performance areas as well including db optimization, caching systems, cdns, etc)

• Be an integrations wizard, i.e. he or she should be able to integrate disparate systems via APIs, javascript, etc (e.g. magento wordpress SSO)

• Maximize technology utilization within the given budget and find creative ways to solve the tech challenge when budget is strained

• Maintain licensing and compliance records as required by regulatory authorities

• Security and Compliance – Be aware of security risks with respect to online sites as well as corporate LAN and WAN and smart phone and tablet devices that access internal company data.  Be aware of tools, solutions, methods, processes to mitigate all security risks. Be able to implement or manage the implementation of security protection tools, processes, etc

• Needless to say, you should excellent inter-personal, and communication skills. As with any startup, you have to be light, fluid and flexible and may be asked to wear multiple hats.
