Some really SOLID reasons why Microsoft bought Nokia

Featured above : Microsoft and Nokia have “tied the knots”

Some important points that come to my head as to why Microsoft bought Nokia. Add your own (as comments) and I will include the really nice ones in the main copy later:

– The ORIGINAL Nokia ringtone is REALLY nice and the only way to have acquired it for Microsoft phones was by buying the Nokia Company.

– The weather in Finland is similar to the weather in Seattle.

– Elop HAD to be acquired for Microsoft. His non-compete clause in his employment agreement with Nokia prevented him for working for ‘competition’, so Microsoft BOUGHT the competition.

– There was a trillion dollars paid by Microsoft to Nokia to license the Windows platform AND TO NEVER USE ANDROID. Last month, the Microsoft Auditors advised the Microsoft board that the investment be ‘written off’ because of…..

Ballmer DID not agree and asked for creative accounting solutions. He called Rajat Gupta. The advise he got was to buy the investment itself so that it can’t be written off. Essentially creating DARK matter on the balance sheet rather than a Black Hole.

– Nokia by Windows sounds really nice. It has a nice ‘ring’ to it.

– Bill Gates always knew that he had Finnish Forefathers. This deal was to cement that relationship forever

– The multi colors of the Lumia phones EXACTLY match the Microsoft Windows Logo colors – to the last pantone pixel. There was NO way the companies could have ignored that

– Steve Jobs appeared in Ballmer’s dreams last night and REALLY SPOOKED him. Ballmer woke up and just bought Nokia as an antidote to never have that dream again…
