  1. I haven`t seen your old layout, but this is pretty enough to explain your business. It takes less time to load, and seems very simple. Best of Luck

PS : I guess we should meet someday, i like your service, can make some app !!!!

    Regards,

    Rahul Bohra,

    Web Application Developer,

    Mumbai.

  2. SEO wise : it is poor. You need to have text. You cannot just put images everywhere in place of text.
Sorry but I did not get the main idea of the product. Perhaps you should explain that more.

As of now it is fine. But for buttons and better UI. You should see bootstrap.
You should also try and go for responsive web design if possible.

Otherwise, I like the way you have structured your content.
You dont need Dial2verify inthe news button. As it is right below. What you probably should have is – SAMPLE CODE or API DOCS.

Check out parse.com and how they structure API thing.
API FEATURES, PRICING should be on front page. Because that is what the user or customer is most interested in.

Also, Login Button is way too inside. You can probably have it on left side top.

Again, these are just my views . So do not mind it.Thanks.

  3. Thanks Rahul 🙂 Sure will ping you in some time,

  4. Well thats really helpful

  5. Cool….So much to take from this reply…Thanks poojan for your fare enough response…I will definitely work on these points and come up with a better page 😉

  6. I just had a confusion, What we have done is, To every picture we added an ALT tag with the same text description, assuming search engines can extract text from alt tag and at the same time can grab images for image repo.

Please share your openion on this.

  7. Hello Rahul ,

That should help you only in your image results not the regular web results.

I checked out your website and I must say design wise it looks nice. Here is one website I always work with when I come across UI problems and what people think about my website:

    https://fivesecondtest.com/

Basically what happens is , you can take a screenshot of your website and the screenshot will be shown to the five second test community for exactly 5 seconds then you can ask them 5 questions . Like what do you think the website is about. What do you think needs to be changed and other things like that.

They also have similar tests called click test and nav test which is rather self explanatory . I suggest you do the five second test first because here at Rodinhoods people know what your website is about and their opinions can be a little biased. So I suggest you get opinions from people who don’t know about it and tweak it accordingly.

If you need any more help in terms of SEO or anything of that sorry you can send me an email to sanjay [at] clickmeister.com

  8. Hi Sanjay…Thanks for sharing your opinion and the above link….will definitely consider all the responses 🙂

  9. Who suggested you to use images in places where you should obviously have used text? This will cause a lot of problems:

    1. SEO (as said by others)
    2. Speed (images are SIGNIFICANTLY heavier than text)
    3. This will look crappy on all high-res devices (Retina Laptops, and all smartphones with a high pixel-density)
    4. Even on a non-high-res screen, it’s not nearly as good looking as text would have been.
    5. And of course, altering the content would be a big pain in the ass

  10. Well said 😉 yes….this is now First Action Item on us 😉

  11. Thanks Jitendra 🙂 I Respect your comment and the exotel brand 🙂 Coming soon suggestion too was quite logical 😉
    but…
unfortunately I couldn’t locate same features (which you described above & that too at NO Cost 😉 ( at Exotel portal )

    I referred
https://exotel.in/pricing/ page…please let me know if I have missed it..

  12. other then already given suggestion only stuff i felt was you need to  improve placing and flow of content of your website

  13. Hello Nitesh, Appreciate your feedback….we would surely work on the “content flow”

    thank you 🙂

  14. Hi Rahul,

I have 2 suggestions for your UI:

    a) Having a short introductory video will do good, because as Jitendra said this is a super niche & its good to let people know about it as quickly as possible after they land in your site. If you could add details on how this would benefit your clients, they would be impressed for sure.

    b) What is the next step for your visitors after they land on your webpage? The action item you want them to take must be clearly visible on the homepage.

    Hope these help 🙂

  15. Hello Saraswathi,

Thanks a lot for your inputs….This forum is truly helping us a lot, in molding our thought process towards ‘Customer driven design’

Being a newbie in web design, we ( mistakenly ) focused ( too ) much on the technical aspects of our product…But yes, it might sound too geeky for business users. So will definitely take-up learning shared here and re-structure our content.

  16. Hello Everyone,
    Just to update,

As suggested we have made one very important change to our page ( replacing images with the actual text for better search visibility ).

Additionally we have launched some guest UA tests on anonymous community and would aggregate all the suggestions made to apply next revision.

    Thanks for sharing genuine feedback…

  17. Site looks like it is down currently … Naked DNS as well as www both not working check it out to rectify and action as required. Cheers!!!

    DNS Resolution Error

You’ve requested a page on a website (http://www.dial2verify.com) that is on the CloudFlare network. Unfortunately, CloudFlare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain (http://www.dial2verify.com). There are two potential causes of this:

    • Most likely: if the owner just signed up for CloudFlare it can take a few minutes for the website’s information to be distributed to our global network. Check back in about 5 minutes and the site should be up and running and enjoying all the benefits of CloudFlare.

    • Less likely: something is wrong with this site’s configuration. Usually this happens when accounts have been signed up with a partner organization (e.g., a hosting provider) and the provider’s DNS fails.

    • Timestamp: Tue, 06-Aug-13 22:42:54 GMT

    • Your IP address: xxx.xx.xx.xx

    • Requested URL: http://www.dial2verify.com/

    • Error reference number: 1001

    • Server ID: FL_24F11

    • Process ID: PID_1375828974.442-1-5583152

    • User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/28.0.1500.95 Safari/537.36

  18. Oopes 🙁 Sorry for the inconvenience caused

We are using Cloudflare CDN for faster content delivery.

https://status.dial2verify.in/ is the Health check program we have uploaded on our physical server, which says the site is up since 88 days. So most likely it was minor disruption from CloudFlare side. ( Also CloudFlare has tweeted about some service disruption @ https://twitter.com/CloudFlareSys )

But great that you noticed it 🙂 Thanks a lot Darshan…..Such feedback help us improve ourselves for better service delivery.

  19. How about bringing Two Factor Authentication ( Strict User Verification ) with just a Missed Call…

The basic idea behind 2 Factor authentication lies in the loopholes, one could see with the implementation of OTP OR Missed call based verification,

    1. There are several websites which provide you temporary virtual mobile numbers ( which could be used by spammers to receive One Time Passwords at signup process )

    2. Again, few of the sites allow you to give a missed call anonymously, from their hosted telephony application.
With such reverse techniques, actual purpose of user authentication doesn’t really get satisfied. and thus we have planned to Build powerful 2-Facto authentication plugin on top of Dial2verify’s Missed call telephony platform.
The plugin could effectively act as a replacement to OTP, Captcha & Traditional Login Prompts. at the same time could be simple, speedy and an effective way to control spam.

Please share your opinions and suggestions on this.
