So there is a low income goverment school in Sewri called Sewri Cross Mumbai Public School. All the kids come from the surrounding community that runs along paralled to the habour line railway track. The teacher in the school is a Teach for India Fellow. I have visited the school once and have organized a little drawing competition for the kids and know the kids and teacher personally. The teachers have been working really hard since last 18 months to educate the little kids. From the last few months they have been trying to raise funds to buy netbooks for kids (As there is no place to keep a desktop in the small class). We have helped them in some way but they are still short of one netbook/ old laptop. So if you or any of your friend is interested in donating their old laptops.
