We are planning to develop a push notification service for mobile apps. We are getting inputs and requirements from indie developers/app development companies to make our product a better one. I would appreciate if you can share your thoughts about this service.
Please throw light on
1.How do you send push notifications to your app users at present (Own server / third party )?
2. Will you opt for a cloud hosted solution in freemium model or Do you like to buy the software and setup your own server?
3. and if there are any limitations or pain point that you face while using the existing service.
