Hi all,
A couple of months ago I got a new IDEA postpaid SIM CARD.Since I am using this number I am getting continuous calls from various banks and organisations and asking for “Sikha Bagaria” and “Vipul Gupta”(which I suppose are the previous owner of SIM).
I just dont understand how can some one be so careless that all the internet banking passwords and transaction I receive every day on that number moreover I also receive the transactional messages of credit cards.
On ever call I get, I try asking them for the mail ID of that person but no one is giving saying its confidential blah blah blah…
Its been 2-3 months almost I am fed up with the calls can some one help how can it be resolved?

I remember receiving calls for two previous owners of my number. One had kept his luxury sedan in a garage and had mysteriously disappeared. The other was a conman sadhu whose angry clients kept calling. Though I changed the number (because calls were too frequent and too rowdy), you can do the following-
1) Speak to Idea, let them know what the problem is.
2) Talk to the banks from whom you’re receiving texts/calls. Tell them the phone number has changed. They will be prompter to change the data records.

-> I spoke to idea customer care they say that sim ownership has been changed to you but they cant help for the calls/sms which I receive.
->I talk to bank people when they call me and other company people as well they say they cant edit in the system as they dont have proof as well and moreover they dont have authority directly to change in the system!!!

That’s unfortunate. Perhaps you’re not speaking to the right people. The bank call center guys wont help, the real employees will. What bank is it?

ICICI and AXIS bank and hell lots and lots of companies from DELHI…
I dont even ask the names now…past 1 I tried requesting them politely but this dint work than I warned them not to call me and try abusing them but even this dint work out..Still they call every day…
Number from which I get calls every day 2-3 times :
+911401399144,+911148137050,+911409334316 etc etc list goes on
Also I got call from docomo or airtel dont exaclty remember asking me to pay the bill which I never had a connection 🙁

Change the number.
Unless someone else from the community has a better suggestion.

High Time for business and number with lots of clients and others too..
Thus seems difficult to change the number..Lets c if some one has a trump card for this..
