we all know that there is serious traffic on roads and our cars are burning our lungs and pockets both… if we look at simple statistics… 40% of the land in Mumbai is occupied by roads and 90% of road space is occupied by cars carrying only 10% of total commuters of Mumbai…
i believe use of public transport services can address this traffic and pollution concerns effectively… but there are various issues in using public transport itself… the most critical concern being ‘Access to Information’!
To provide easy access to complete information about public transport services i started a telephone helpline called 360Navigator.
360Navigator provide complete information to travel from your starting location to the destination using public transport… it provide alternatives available (trains/buses/AC buses), fare, estimated time, etc
Our service has been particularly hit with senior citizen, women, tourists and anyone who is occasional commuter…
Now that we have successfully tested the need, we are looking at sustaining it financially… we have a few options as below:
1. Audio advertisements over phone call and SMS advertises
2. Location based business leads
Kindly suggest us the other options which can generate the revenues…
as we are running a call center our cost per call is high… about Rs5/- per call.. so each call should generate more than Rs5/- to sustain…
Also kindly suggest the means to reach more and more people… we have been covered by few news papers and FM radio but there is down fall in number of calls after few days… call volume varies from 300+ to 45+-
