Fun

I have the best job in the world. Thank You.

Construction is a thankless job, I have heard this from everyone I know. But strangely it’s not true. What I do is the best job in the world.

Frankly, there’s nothing more satisfying that running your own business, making money and at the same time getting appreciated for that by everyone involved.

Business is a beautiful thing. There are no losers. At our Almond Tree project, my landlord got phenomenal value and my clients got beautifully done up homes at an amazing value proposition. Over the last 3 years, we have directly created employment for 200 families, and indirectly, benefitted around 100 more.

We have generated around 100 million rupees as various taxes to the government. We have created a property which is fabulously green and will be an asset for generations to come. By taking a bold risk in the design, we have created an architectural beauty. We have made homes where people are living their lives and have created enormous value to the owners.

So you see, business works like a miracle. There are no losers in business; everybody wins.

We recently handed over Almond Tree and organized a client meet with a party inviting all the people connected with the project. I have seen and realised that clients are very understanding and they just want someone to do the job right. They are ready to forgive and embrace as long as the effort is genuine.

So for everyone who is in some sort of business, or even those who have a passing interest in business, I wanted to share my belief on what can be achieved by just doing the job right, and yeah, having fun.

  1. A real perspective changer…. You have given a brilliant insight, and believe me the “Analogy” is true in opposite sense too 🙂
