I was thinking why Tata Steel’s furnaces have never been disrupted on account of a labour strike and this is an enviable record as compared to Maruti.
I believe Maruti’s HR dept. has some where slipped and screwed up in their HR policies.
During my garments export days we had 500 workers though much smaller number than Maruti, we never had any strike in 20 years. It all comes down to HR policies and how the leadership connects with their labour or the whole team.
