Started by a bunch of cricket aficionados, Switch Hit aims to offer a world class user experience and introduce a whole bunch of features in time. As of now, we have developed a beta version of the website and a Facebook app and with your participation and feedback we shall keep improving.

Why can’t I access Switch HIT, without my FB Login. I wanted to see what all it has on offer ?. We play Fantasy Cricket on Criclounge / Criconfo on a Regular Basis. Both lack a good Sledge platform. So Sledging happens on Emails. I wanted to see your format without allowing Apps an access to my friend list / basically without FB. Why isn’t that possible ?

There are people as old as 50 Year Old who play in my Fantasy Leagues. Set up their teams. But don’t have a FB Account. So they can’t even join a new app like yours ?

Thanks for your post. Your comment: “Both lack a good Sledge platform. So Sledging happens on Emails.” hits the nail on the head. That is exactly what we’re trying to create: a social first platform where friends/family/work colleagues who are avid followers of the sport can have fun in a social setting while competing with each other. I agree with both of your comments that just FB login is limiting and that we currently are not communicating all the benefits of the product on the home page as well as we should. The decision to start with a FB login was one of starting with something that took least amount of effort but possibly had the largest amount of coverage; we will be adding newer logins in future for sure – gmail sso? register with email?. As far as communicating what’s on offer without logging in, we’re thinking of creating a fun video that will tell the Switch-Hit story. We’re still in beta and need to improve as we go so thanks very much for your suggestions. Since you’re an avid fantasy cricket user, if you’re able to login and invite a few friends to play during Champions league as well as provide feedback, that would help us very much.
