I have a few gift vouchers of leading eCommerce stores in India. Since I don’t buy too many things online, I wanted to sell these vouchers for cash or trade/exchange the vouchers with something else (if possible).
I am sure a lot of people have faced the same problem. With growth of eCommerce, many websites/brands offer complementary gift vouchers to their customers and not everybody uses these vouchers. As a result either the gift voucher get expired or tends to remain unused.
I tried looking for ways to do so but there is no dedicated platforms as such for doing the same. However, I found that there are atleast 50 small and big platforms outside India like this or this dealing with this problem.
I just wanted to know if there are any platforms (websites, apps, groups etc.) which allow us to redeem gift vouchers for cash or trade/exchange/swap them in India.
Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.
(On a side note, I sense a good opportunity here. There is a large demand for this kind of service and its also trying to address a genuine pain point. )
