Super.charg.in is a sports forum where all sports-lovers can join in and contribute on different topics.

We have started with topics like:

1) Sports meetups and games for football and tennis in Mumbai and Pune

2) Announcements of major events and tournaments around the world

3) e-sports connections – FIFA on ps3 / ps4

The purpose of Superchargin is to give quick access to sports fans to connect with people who they can arrange games with / know more about the local sports scene and come in and contribute thoughts on different categories – on tennis, football, badminton etc.

Some achievements of Superchargin:

We got some people together for a FIFA game on playstation as well! (Not quite what we intended – but we thought of it as e-sports!

We got some tennis fans to meetup and play together in Mumbai

We connected some football fans in Pune for a weekend 5-a-side game

Got some chatter going for tennis and football games (not too much – but good start)

Challenges

Like any community forum – initial traction in terms of users is a challenge. We are reaching out to influencers in the sports community to get on-board with one-on-one session. The initial idea is well accepted. But only users will validate it.

Even though its responsive – we need to make it more seamless. An app is on the cards as well to resolve this.

There are several facebook pages or whatsapp groups which can be used. But our idea is that with whatsapp group number limitations its not easy to get a larger reach. Facebook is always a challenge. But we want to knit a closed groups for all sports here – not just restricted to a specific sport. Our thought is – most people like 2-3 sports and not just one. So instead of limiting it to only football or cricket – lets get it under the ‘gaming’ roof. So you will also see football fans talking about playing Fifa online as well as planning an outdoor game over the weekend.

Contributors. We have seen lot of people visiting the site to see updates, but very few who contribute. This is a challenge across all networks- but we feel that with the ease of use of the site we can solve this. Also people want to contribute to the sports they love – hopefully this will provide a genuine platform for them. No need to do a lot – jus login and post!

Please let us know your thoughts, ideas and suggestions on this. There are a lot of good thing here, but also several areas we can improve. Do sign-in and start contributing.
