In my company we are using an e-mail based team reporting system where teams like sales, development simply sends a mail to xyz e-mail id (at the end of day) with a small summary of task they have completed in the day.
Next morning a digest mail goes to every team member as well as the manager who took up cues from that report before his review meeting with team members. For us this system works and it also keeps a record of tasks completed on daily basis by the team members.
I thought same could be useful for others too, so ported our system to a web based service at https://compilar.in (it’s free)
