Hey – does anyone use Waveapps (https://www.waveapps.com/) accounting software – its an online based software for creating invoices, maintaining payrolls, monitoring expenses etc. I want to know if
a. Is it safe to use such online accounting softwares?
b. They say its free – if yes, then what’s the catch?
c. Are there any more/better options that you know of?

Hey Varun,
I have used waveapps for around 6 months during last financial year.
a. I found it safe, did not find any issues after linking my bank account with it
b. Yes, it is free. I paid nothing while my account was active. They try to sell other services and that is their revenue source. Not sure if that has changed in the past few months.
c. Not sure. I have quit on such online accounting softwares due to many limitations and have started maintaining accounts myself with the help of my CA.
