What we can be …

Hi ,

I am currently in Switzerland in a small town outside of Zurich. Am here with my family for a holiday and am currently staying at my wife’s aunt’s house. The aunt is Swiss and quite elderly. One morning she decided to take my wife and kids to a near by farm to buy some fresh vegetables and flowers for the house. The children were excited and happy.

When they reached there, it was a lovely farm, only thing was that the farmer was not present. Instead, fresh vegetables were neatly piled up, their prices mentioned. All we had to do was weigh what we wanted and put the appropriate amount in an envelope. As for the flowers, there were shears left outside. We had to go into the fields and cut fresh flowers for ourselves and again put the money in an envelope. Was the most amazing display of trust that I have seen a business person display … BUT , this story is not about him .

When this story was narrated to me by my wife and kids I was also amazed. But something was really bothering me, so I went to the Aunt and asked her ..“WHAT IF SOMEONE DID NOT PAY ?’ … and she very simply without hesitation replied : “BUT WHY WOULD SOMEONE NOT PAY ??’

Our children are like this aunt .. they only possess the truth within . Somewhere along the way, either we or the environment fucks up our natural way of being and changes us … The lesson here is simple, the problem is , that how do we unfuck ourselves and sociey …??

  1. Its not just poverty..its upbringing. During Tsunami in 2011, people in Japan lost their homes and everything they had, but yet there were no instances of shop-lifting, rioting, etc or jumping the line (where food was distributed). We need to inculcate such qualities in our kids and give them the strength to stick to it irrespective of the environment around which is a big challenge!

  2. The Best Simple Answer

Entrepreneurs are Unique Species, transforming themselves into any thing at any situation or task or time.

    Thanks
