indiERP – IT KNOWS. IT WORKS – A Social Cloud ERP for MSMEs – Vote for indiERP to reach the finals of The Summit Kilimanjaro

Dear Rodinhooders,

I’m Surjith Singh, Chief Experiment Officer from Niqotin. This is my first post to this community of young and enthusiastic Doers.

The Pitch – Before and After

I’ve met Alok ‘Rodinhood’ Kejriwal only 2 times in the span of last 2 years. First was on the sets of Bloomberg UTV – The Pitch Season 2, during the audition. I was among the 10 finalists chosen by the energetic trio of Alok, Vishal Gondal and Anil Joshi of Mumbai Angels. Till then I was very pessimistic and closed minded person of what I’m doing in the entrepreneurial life. The first appreciation I’ve got was from Alok during the 2min Pitch. In fact that was my First presentation in a decade before a panel of judges (that too in front of the third eye, The Camera). After stepping into the realty show “The Pitch Season 2”, I’ve realized that I should still have a long way to go before I make a progress. Slowly we have built the product RuralERP and serving the MSME customers. Also we have participated in various contests and programmes and won the hearts of many. Please find the list at the end.

So far we have bootstrapped and looking to expand to serve the world of MSME (known as SMB/SME in some parts of the world).

What we are Experimenting?

Here is a brief about what we are doing.

At Niqotin we are developing indiERP (RuralERP offered as a specific edition to Rural businesses), a Social Cloud Enterprise Software Apps for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) targeting Manufacturing, Retail and Services vertical. indiERP is available as a Software-as-a-Service model.

We help the MSME community to improve their business practices by fair and transparent means with effective and efficient use of Technology with the help of affordable Tools.

We aim to bridge the Linguistic divide in technology adoption thus creating a Knowledge Enterprise.

We are providing Simple and Affordable Enterprise App ecosystem in local languages. Anybody who can read, write or speak their local language can use indiERP.

We are also innovating on simple Mobile Apps, voice, SMS features to effectively connect the Micro and Small businesses at the last Mile.

indiERP helps Micro and Small businesses manage their businesses effectively and efficiently in their local languages to improve their Processes, Productivity and Profit.

indiERP aims to blend the Social, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud (SMAC) features and benefits to improve the Enterprise resources.

indiERP will add many unique features compared to traditional ERP providers and connecting both direct and indirect stakeholders of the Enterprises through Content, Community and Commerce tools thus providing a holistic approach to Enterprise data and Decision making.

indiERP is available in 25 languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali. Innovative features like inbuilt translation based on the crowd-sourced content will help to add numerous languages.

We have plans to impact thousands of Micro and Small businesses and millions of users across the globe in the coming years. We wish to become the “Technology Enabler for MSME Ecosystem”.

In this regard we were/are participating in various international events like StartupAsia Jakarta 2013 during last October and Echelon 2014 in June (Singapore), The Summit 2014 in November (Dublin), Slush 2014 (Helsinki) apart from various local B2B gatherings to build the business.

And the Story Continues

And the second time I met Alok (along with Vishal) was during Nasscom Product Conclave 2013 in Bangalore.  And I thought they definitely forgot me after 2 years space (this time I was without my moustache). But to my surprise, after my self-introduction to them I changed my mind. They are closely and silently following our progress through social networks. Alok is even humbler than 2011. No wonder why he has so many followers, even with much difference of opinions. Thanks Alok for your appreciation and humbleness.

Chief Experiment Officer

I’ve entered ‘The Pitch’ with my business card showing “Head – Products” and now I’m the “Chief Experiment Officer”. Most of the people got curious after seeing my card. Who is an “Experiment” Officer? What Experiments he do?

My answer to them is a simple word called “LIFE”.

What is LIFE?

“Life Is Full of Experiments”.

Whatever we do is an Experiment. If we complete it successfully we call it a perfect Execution. Otherwise it’s an ‘Experience’. And based on the outcome we move on to the same Experiment with new Rules or a New Experiment with same/new Rules. Experiments are changing. Rules are changing.

Don’t forget this quote from the Chief Experiment Officer.

“In Failure We Learn to Experiment Successfully. In Success We Learn to Fail Experimentally.”

Happy Experimenting. And don’t forget to Vote.
