Mithigaraari.com – First online venture for home delivery of multibrand icecreams in Gurgaon

I have recently launched one startup for home delivery of most popular brands icecream in Gurgaon by the name mithigaraari.com

Garaari is a punjabi word referring to a person who is a real stubborn in each and every aspect & when it comes to food, garaari must be fulfilled.

We offer wide variety of icecreams of different brands and flavors to chose from. Just visit our website, choose your order and within 1 hour your favorite icecream will be at your doorstep.

Delivery timings: 8pm to 2am

    It is great you are trying something new in your area. Your website has also come up nicely. I am also into Ice cream manufacturing ”CremeFraiche” Ice creams since last 3 years  ( in Mangalore , Coastal Karnataka – 6 Lakhs population). We are against  big players in our area. So we started Home Delivery of Ice creams in our area to popularize our brand . First we did newspaper insertion in a targeted area . But the response was not good. We did it only once, may be constant hammering is needed for brand/service recall . And our website http://www.cremef.com is not upto the mark.

             First off all I would like to congratulate you for your new venture. I would like to suggest you some tips to market your venture. You can print  pamphlets explaining them about your product  and distribute at malls , colleges, residential building ,call centres

    BE AS AGGRESSIVE AS POSSIBLE ON SOCIAL MEDIA!

    Congrats and Good Luck on Starting up.
    You have a catchy name for your business.

    You should follow a BTL approach for both consumers and corporates.

    To start with local distribution of pamphlets, stickers and posters for consumers (b2c).

    And for B2B, Corporate Profiles and Posters for corporate to be pasted on their notice boards and to be given to Admin personal for corporate orders.
    I run a printing startup in Delhi and will be happy to work together.

    Also look for a tie up with Online order sites.

  11. To start with, approach them of putting a canopy/stall in the cafeteria or their premises.

    Think of running a fundoo campaign as “Chill Breeze” etc.

    Corporate discounts theme for employees

    Start with giving some sample scoops etc.

    Make sure you have your business cards, corporate profiles and pamphlets for these activities.

    How is the progress of mithigaraari?  How is the response from customers?

  13. Hi Shravan, it’s been more than a month since we launched mithigaraari. Slowly and slowly we are ramping up in terms of orders. Customers do find it interesting when we deliver them their favorite icecream at their doorstep without any temperature drop.

    Currently working to add some more products in the catalogue to expand it further.Any suggestions from your side?

  14. Glad to hear that the orders are increasing.

    I would suggest you to change your site template/design. Shopify has very nice templates. Choose a very good and attractive template.

    I also checked your Facebook page and found that you have a very good presence on Facebook. (800+ likes in just one month of operation is pretty decent). Have you thought of starting a storefront on Facebook and converting your fans into customers?

    Check out Sellmojo (aff link). You can setup your own facebook store in a few minutes and start selling there. They have a free plan. You can go for it and set up your Facebook store.

    Haven’t tried for starting a storefront on facebook but sounds interesting….will think upon it !!!
