My Luck can be yours too … #GoodLuck

Hi Asha,

After thinking alot, I realized that I can’t think of many incidents so far in my life where I can say I got lucky. Though I have few but … 🙂 May be because I’m constantly going through ups n downs in life which everyone is for sure.

I feel that One alone can’t get lucky. Lot of times my luck cann bring in luck for someone else too and that’s what exactly happened lately in my life. So, I thought of sharing that incident.

I’m working in my current company for more than 6 years now. Yea yea, right i’m still working for someone but I’ll start up soon and that’s exactly why I’m here on this site and follow you all inspiring people. So, finally I got a break at some other organization which I’m sure will give me good learning further in my career.

Let’s say I’m at Level 20 Right now in my organization and I’ve this team member in my team who is at Level 10 right now. Very hard working and sincere in every sense. While I have decided to move on I’ve been asked about my replacement. I strongly feel that it’s always good to create your own back up. So this member is perfect person to take up my place though less experienced but I think you have to start somewhere and then you can learn. Some one should give such opportunities to deserving people at times.

So, I suggested this person’s name and gave my reasoning behind it to the senior management to which they agreed surprisingly and within One week that person got promoted to the position of Level 20 from Level 10 which gives that person the 10 level jump. DAMN LUCKY I must say 🙂

I’m mentoring that person for the role right now during my notice period and I feel so proud of it.

Though, some people are unhappy about it but i think it’s ok to make some people un happy especially when you are sure of your decisions.

This is how my Luck brought some luck for the other team member…

Kunal
