Need your feedback and suggestions for my website: www.way2healthcare.com

Hello Guys,

This is my first post as a Rodinhood. Firstly I would like to congratulate Alok and team on this wonderful portal. You guys are doing a rocking job helping first time entrepreneurs like me!

Having been worked and seen healthcare sector, I came up with this idea to transform healthcare scenario and thereby transforming lives of the people by shifting the focus from service provider to service seekers.

Problem solved: Healthcare in India is a costly affair, not accessible to all and revolves around the doctors. Patients only visit hospitals, diagnostic centers referred by their doctors, blindly without any knowledge/information about them

The solution: Our platform provides complete information of your nearest healthcare service provider, you can book an appointment online along with getting a discount/ cash back offer at each of the listed centers.

Here’s the idea:

(I’ll explain the process step-wise to make it easy to understand)

How about a portal & mobile app

Step1: Wherein you could simply login, search for your nearest hospital, clinics, spas, gyms, salons, diagnostic centers with it’s complete information,

Step 2: Select the best center suited as per your needs,

Step 3: Book it’s appointment either by calling us or through our portal, get its confirmation on your phone/email,

Step 4: Visit the center, buy/use their services,

Step 5: Get a cash-back, your hard earned money back in your bank account, a percentage of amount you spent at the center.

The service is absolutely free for customers!!!

Here’s the link to the website: Way2HealthCare

How does it look like, will you use such a service?

Will be awaiting your feedback and comments.

Thanks in advance! 🙂

Cheers,

Varun

  1. How will it be different than Practo.com and other similar solutions?

  2. 1. As asked by Zeeshan, how different it will be as compared to using other similar websites / apps servicing this need?

    2. Also what major benefit will it offer to a customer looking for a service in their area? I guess something like a USP that would make customer use your portal / app.

    3. Are you planning to offer something more than just search and book services as in a discount( in my experience, I would avoid using the concept of cash-back ). To get users to use your services customer would want something more as compared to your competition. Then in this case, groupon becomes your competition to a certain extent.

    4. I guess you will need to display service providers( spas / gyms) credentials / reviews on your portal / app. In this case the question of authenticity of the reviews pops up as the review could be paid or funded or worst of all fake !

  3. Thanks for your reply Zeehshan and Arpit.

    Answering your questions:

    1) Other similar websites are mere doctor appointment booking portals not offering any discounts or cash back. Mine is a total solution offering health, wellness and diagnostics services along with the enabling people to save money they spend on health and wellness.

    2) Person looking for a service in their area would get a detailed list of all service providers with their complete information mentioning their details like name, phone number, timings, services, address, location on google map, photographs, reviews and ratings of people who have used the service before.

    3) Along with cash back, I can work on giving them up front discounts as well. How would that be?

    4) Already answered in point no. 2.

    Thanks again!!! 🙂

  4. 1) I think the biggest task is to get the institutions you listed to sign up with the portal to start accepting bookings online / or through app.

A better long term solution would be a hardware driven approach like https://elacarte.com/ , which can be a game changer.

    2) Cashbacks, discounts are good , but would need 1) to be done.

You should start with a mobile solution, I had something similar in mind but have been busy with other stuff, my plan was to have a mobile App for each of the “hospital, clinics, spas, gyms, salons, diagnostic centers with it’s complete information”  – Atleast for a pilot city.

This will give enough exposure and eyeballs and later on it can be consolidated in a single app.

  5. Hi Zeeshan,

    1) Have already started tying up with service providers. More than 100 partners currently listed on our portal.

    2) Will surely go for a mobile app soon.

    Thanks once again! 🙂

  6. Great, what is the URL ?
