What is the typical stock compensation for a non-founder post-funding startup CTO ?

hi,

I would like to know what is the typical stock compensation for a non-founder CTO in a startup with $5M funding. I’m not sure if the US statistics of ~3% apply in India.

Also, how does one get this in their employment contracts ? Is there any line like “3% of stocks on a fully diluted basis as on Sep 3” that gets written in the offer letter ?
