Something very interesting y’day evening (805pm):
I came down to my office compound to go home. Just as I was getting into my car, I met the couple that owns Neoteric (an apple distributor). We began to speak about many things and then the topic veered towards spirituality. I spoke a lot (as usual) and mentioned the book – Autobiography of a Yogi. The man asked what it was. I immediately opened my laptop bag and gave him the fresh copy of the book that I always carry with me. I said, “Read it, Paramhansa Yogananda mentioned that he has embedded his vibrations in the book..”
As I was driving out of the building, I obstructed someone on the road. When I looked to the right, it was a Sadhu, dressed in orange. I folded my hands and asked him where he was headed. He said, “Sadhubela temple” (near Mahalaxmi temple).
I told him I was going to Peddar Road and would drop him on the way. He got into the car and we spoke about lots of things. He gave me a clove to eat.
At Cadbury House, I stopped the car for him. He gave me his mobile number. I gave him a missed call. Then, just as he was leaving, I asked him, “Swamiji, what is your name?”
He said, “My name is Swami Yogananda….” !!!
