Sumant and I spent a good 2 hours discussing games2win and its future plans. What was interesting about the entire discussion is the ONE WORD Sumant wrote on his white board before the meeting began:
‘Inefficiency’
He asked me to forget tactical and operating plans and explain to me what were the Inefficiencies in Online Gaming, iOs gaming and Virtual gaming and then how games2win would create efficiency to counter these inefficiencies and create massive upside value.
The best part of meeting VC’s like Clearstone and Sumant who sit in the center of the universe of entertainment (LA), technology & innovation (California) and the vast experience of the firms (Original VC’s of MP3.com, Paypal.com) is a UNIQUE perspective that they bring to your business.
Just ‘delayering’ the business with Sumant and building it back with new cement and bricks (inefficiency) created a huge difference in the way I looked at my own business.
The Meeting over – I made a beautiful exit – one street down, into 3rd street promenade!!

You reminded me of my trip to LA. Love the city !! 3rd street, I saw a performance by mexican street dancers there and can never forget their line ‘ Give us 1 USD today to save your TV tomorrow’ : ) Also there is an ice-cream shop which allows you to create your own ice-cream combo’s. Missing LA 🙂 I got an opportunity to visit an interactive studio in Pasadena , was awesome work environment. And of course Santa Monica Pier and beach. Had a time of my life when I was there. Have a wonderful time sirji !
