Cricket Knockdown: Yet another cricket game!

As a few of my friends ask me and I quote, “Are you guys on fire?”. Oh and the recent one: “Have you guys started printing games?”. This is the kind of response we, GameEon Infotech Pvt. Ltd., have been getting lately from our friends and family because of the pace at which we are developing and launching games. We have a total of 9 games on the PlayStore of which, 5 were launched in the last 2 months itself!

Well coming to the actual topic, this post is about our latest game, which is again a unique cricket game. We present to you ‘Cricket Knockdown‘. There’s not much to say about this game though since it being a simple concept and blah blah blah 😀

The game is simple, addictive and all the usual stuff that you hear about games which want to promote themselves to hit big. Anyways, you won’t know it until you try it so I’d let the product speak for itself. However, a little bit of background would be needed as a ‘pitch’ to the end customer: YOU.

So here I will be copy pasting the PlayStore description of this game. It goes as follows:

Cricket Knockdown is a simple yet addictive game with only one objective: KNOCKDOWN STUMPS!

Can you complete all the 50 LEVELS in this game??

While it may appear to be a fairly simple game, we dare you that its not! Play through the 50 odd levels of this game to experience yet another level of addiction. Swipe your way to knockdown!

Oh yes!! Just if you forgot to notice: 50 LEVELS. You seriously are going to have a fun time completing them. The game is so awesome that with the right kind of market exposure can beat Flappy Bird! Well, they said dream big so why not?? 😀

Anyways, try the game and let me know your honest review through comments below! 😉 🙂

Thanks!

  1. Hello Nikhil,

Just installed and played the game upto Level 5. I would like to put my own personal opinion-

    • The Game title “Cricket Knockdown” could have done with the “Knockdown” word itself.I was expecting some real cricket game.Anyway, it still does justice to its name 🙂
    • Coming to game play, the game is very similar to the numerous Dart games in the Play store. Also, the level where you have the stumps moving around is very similar to the advanced stages of the dart game. So, in terms of innovation, I find this game the same old stuff, only the darts replaced by the ball and the board by the stumps.
    • I feel some serious need to revamp the graphics of the pitch.I can’t figure out where exactly the ball pitches after every bounce. Maybe, you can put in a hotspot everytime it bounces off the pitch because I would like to know which swipe works for me. Also, at the beginning stages, I would like to see the direction of spin pointed out by small arrows.it took me a while to figure out that the ball was actually spinning 🙂
    • Altogether, I would say that the game needs some more rethink and innovation to make it engaging (just like Flappy Bird, yes Do dream Big,I do only that :P).

P.S The above points may be critical but I appreciate the people who make games and who code.I have been looking for them too 🙂 Desperately.

  2. Hello Ananta,

Yes, the game is a bit low on innovation however the concept of the game is loosely based on ‘Can Knockdown’ and a bit mixture of the cricket fever going on currently.

Thanks a lot for taking out time and pointing out things which can be improved. Will try to implement more things in the game which will make it better and will refer to your points for updates! 🙂

Glad you liked it and thanks again for contributing such amazing points to be improvised in the game! 🙂

  3. You are welcome nikhil. Keep slogging 🙂
