Experienced all-rounder looking to join a start-up

Hey,

My name is Amit. I would like to offer my services to a start-up in the field of technology, social media products / platforms or a company that is pursuing a radically new concept.

I am currently associated with Tata Communications as a Product Manager in the SaaS domain. I am looking for a change and my most obvious choices, are other telcos and SaaS companies.

Having said that, I am keen to join a start-up for the reasons listed below:

The unit I operate in has always functioned like a start-up, within a larger ecosystem. In the last 7.5 years, I have donned many hats – product manager, online marketeer, sales executive, business development executive, operations head, strategy guy, process mapper, legal eagle, customer support guy, etc. The end result is that I have become an all-rounder, who can be deployed, as required.

Start-ups need to ‘generate’ a healthy cash flow and pitch for new business. I love sales.

Start-ups need to map new processes as the business grows, evolves and transforms. I love creating, mapping and tweaking processes.

Start-ups need to provide solid customer support. I love love love customers. I create decent self-help literature, FAQs, product guides, etc.

Start-ups need to sign agreements and an insider perspective helps. I enjoy vetting agreements…even the nasty, twisted variety that come with 7+ exhibits.

Start-ups need to create business plans, manage product and customer life-cycles, execute smart marketing campaigns and really focus, on the consumer experience. I can manage/support these tasks and pay a lot of attention to minute, relevant details.

You may have noticed that the word ‘love’ keeps popping up in my self-description….that’s because I have only love to share 🙂 I am supremely passionate and enthusiastic to the E 🙂

I value my personal time…a lot. 

If you will not mind, I will speak my mind.

I value my lifestyle and have financial commitments to meet. Am open to accepting any package that offers at least INR 18 Lacs (fixed + variable). I would say that a revenue share is a great, super add-on, but not a substitute.
