Get Talked About – Business Idea – What do you think ?

Hi Guys

I have a business idea, and would like to know your thoughts.

It could be a big brand, it could start-up – I guess everyone wants to leverage Social Media. And they should for all the reasons everyone already knows. That said, not a whole lot of people are leveraging Social Media to it’s full potential. The reasons could be lack of expertise, or maybe the cost of putting it up, or maybe the time investment that such a thing would need, or maybe not enough confidence on the RoI.

I am planning to offer developing, running, maintaining and scaling an innovative Social Media Integration to people. I have prepared a small slide deck here, please go through it and let me know if it appeals to you ?

Would you be interested in such a service ?

Do you have a suggestion on the pricing ?

Any other comments / feedback is most welcome 🙂

 Update

I am planning to put the following pricing plan. Please let me know, what you think ? I have a faint feeling it’s too cheap :p

  1. You need to give us more details. Integrating Facebook with one’s site (accepting FB comments, likes etc …) is easy enough. It takes hardly 10 minutes.

    The cost is nil.

    No expertise is required.

    Time investment is 10 minutes.

    What is your offering?

  2. I was talking about the kind of integration that I am showing on the ‘Develop’ slide. I will add more examples in a little while. And yes of course, if all you want is a Like button or a comments box – you don’t need us.

  3. So Maybe people know less about ShortStack.com yet ?

You read some Success Stories here .

Do you have a Website yet ? Or still in the Ideation stage and “Get Talked About”

Have been using this for quite some time now on my end, what i saw above on the post looks almost on the same lines. Check them out (if not already) that should give you the answers to most of the queries you have posted 🙂

Wish you Good Luck on your New endeavor Manish !! What happened to movienation.in. ???

    Cheers!!!

  4. Thanks for replying Darshan. I didn’t know of ShortStack.com, I just took a quick look – and it seems like they provide stuff for Facebook Pages ? That’s pretty cool, but the service I am talking about here is perhaps slightly more customized. We will need manual approvals from Facebook to get that stuff running. I will need to take a deeper look at the offerings on ShortStack to understand this better. Thanks for pointing it out. And I guess I need to get my slide deck explain the offering in a better way.

I don’t have a website yet. The slide deck is all I have. I am intending for this to be a service, that I could slowly productize. So no hurry for a site there.

Unfortunately nothing much happened with movienation.in yet, and I need money to keep the show running. That’s why looking for alternatives.

  5. You need more examples. Specific ones. Your pitch is very generic.

If I were you, I’d spend my time building a MVP, rather than making ppts.

  6. Hi Manish,

My 2 cents. If I would be paying for an external service to do my social media – I’d select one that would help with all my channels esp. Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn at the bare minimum. Because, even If i select a paid service for facebook, I still have to deal with other channels. Thank you..

  7. Excellent point

  8. I agree, and I will modify the offering. We do have the know how for LinkedIn, Twitter and Google as well. In fact for a B2B business, LinkedIn is perhaps the way to go. Just that Facebook offers a lot more hooks and possibilities, and I am obsessed with them.. 🙂 Thanks for pointing out.

  9. Nahi yaar, it’s a service that I am offering, there is no product. But I agree that the presentation needs a lot more explaining. I will do that today, along with a link to a Live Demo.

  10. What kind of integration are you talking about ? Frankly your presentation is not very clear. maybe if you could give us an example? What if I don’t have an awesome product does using your service becomes obsolete product ?

  11. I have updated the presentation with 3 examples and a few more details, for those interested to know more. Thanks for all the feedback so far, please do take another look and let me know if you see a value in the offering.

    Thanks 🙂

  12. Sanjay, I have updated the presentation with examples. I didn’t quite get your question ? Did you mean to ask if my service would be of any value to someone who doesn’t have a very good product ?

  13. Okay, I have updated the post and put a pricing plan as well. Hoping for some feedback 🙂

    Thanks Again! Cheers!!
