Need guidance on ” How to get a mobile app made if you have an idea “

I have a certain idea in mind. On this I spoke to few Mobile app makers , but what i got is huge pricing that discouraged me from taking that jump

Need a few words of advise from people who are domain experts on Mobile apps as a business. Is there a way I can test waters with my idea in a small way , and then expand it to all markets.

Thanks in advance

  1. Anil, I do not claim to be a domain expert, but I do have a fair understanding of the mobile app and game business from my line of work.

I have my app and game portfolio that can be viewed at https://ianpinto.com/ipnova/portfolio

Do let me know if the idea you speak of is related to any of my work. Any which ways even if it is not, I do actively research on a wide array of mobile development topics, and am open to discussing the possibility of contributing to any good idea that concerns mobile app and game development for which you may email me at ipnova@ianpinto.com

  2. Without wasting 5 minutes on thinking about developing the app do an Idea check.. shell out at least 10% of development amount to do research if it is useful or not. Use google forms mail it to every one and any one you know etc…

then  write a Functional specification document step by step how it will work, define menu items, buttons etc. Draw wire frames for each and every screen(very good open source tools are available) then seek developers help. This will save you a lot of time, money, efforts and clarify all the functionality you want to include. And then you can identify what is must have and good to have(prioritize for version 1)

If you want help in drafting any of those documents I can help you. please reach out to me harshgilda@gmail.com
