Hello Rodinhooders,
As I am in search of new business and ideas, I have an idea to launch website similar to zomato/burrp covering Nagpur(Maharashtra) area.
This is because here isn’t any website which gives restaurant info…few of them give restaurant review but there isn’t any website which cover all restaurants.
I am from Mumbai and now studying in Nagpur … I got to know that few restaurants arent that expensive(rate wise) but I thought they are because my friends told so … Which is wrong.
So I think there should be one website for that which should be all in one solution,In mumbai it was very convenient before selecting any restaurants and trying new one but here I can’t do that ! :/
So now, I have few question…
1. How to go for the website ?
2. How can I market website ?
3. How can I earn from it ?
4. How can I make my website different from other market players ?
5. When ‘ll I be starting earning money?
6. Scope, limitations ?
I ll be personally going to restaurants and collect menucard pics all over nagpur… I have covered 20 by now…shall that be enough to launch website ?

Do you really Think a Website for only Nagpur would be helpful (limiting it to only one city)
That would be a bit of an Overkill right ? What happens to it when you come back to Mumbai again after your studies are over ? Or in case you are planning to stay there permanently too, a Website is by default (Global – International) in nature being on the Internet.
Though you could search for some similar posts already doing the rounds on TRHS to find the answers that you seek, if not then just see if the links posted below serve your required purpose.

Initially, to start with I think so that covering nagpur should be enough. I dont plan to go covering metros as market is already dominated by others… So covering vidarbha region or going to raipur(chattisgarh) shall be my next step !
As and when I start getting work…
I am planning to start working on website by december 1st week (after exams)
