Survey for my Startup – Spare your 60 secs.

Hi Friends,

I am trying to solve major problem customers are facing while travelling Internationally during their Holidays. Some told me – good idea and some told me – this is not for Indian market (as we feel service is always free) and some told me to find new ideas. But I am trying to figure out by doing market research and getting response from at least 200 people.

    just completed the survey. BTW the thing is, most of them don`t wanna pay for services.. thats true, but instead of giving toll-free and then charging some 500-1000 from the customer, why can`t it be like you charge for the call? if it is possible.

    and also, its “60 seconds in the title and 30 seconds in the post ” hahahah.. anyways, I completed the survey by 42 seconds. All the best Manish.

  4. All the best. charging for call from operator is easiest … Cheap calling service (like matrix) with data package will be awesome to get … In my experience it always is too expensive .

  6. yeah, thats true.. but I think people are willing to pay upto Rs.15 per minute on an international call. Its just my idea, donno whats the reality is . Hope something around these lines will help you

  9. No Praveen people will not pay that much huge amount. I am from Travel Industry and interact with lot of clients. They don’t want to pay huge amount for Int’l Calling and limits their call as per call rates. May be if they get valuable service – ready to pay.

  10. hi i have never traveled internationally but i think that it is good idea because people traveling internationally wont mind to spend little more if you provide them all this

    It would be a bad idea to charge the tourist.

    IMO charge the outlets for listing and referrals. Like Just Dial.

    Thanks for providing your feedback. Thomas cook and many big operators take care of this part but mostly during group tours. If you like to travel individually that too with your family, everyone wants these kind of information before he leave for vacation. What we are trying to do, let say for eg you are visiting Paris & Swiss – while during your holidays you lost your passport. Now in this case – 70% people try to call their insurance company to register their complaint but point here is how to tackle this situation without loosing your patience. If you give us a call – we explain you entire process how you can file your complaint, address of the embassy, who to meet over there, how to claim your insurance, what all document you need to carry from paris to submit here, how to get temporary passport etc so lot of small small requirements needed in which we are going to help you. This is just one of the case. there are cases where you may required extra fund, you may lookout for wifi spots near to your location, best market to purchase xyz items. 

    We are not a travel agent but a one stop number where you get solution for every small small problems, travellers normally faced and end up spending huge money.

    We are trying to save money and time for our customers during holidays and always available during emergency.

    the survey is to the point and clear as well . 

    do you think the survey should specifically mention that it excludes group tours as a use case ?

    do indians mostly go on group tours for holidays . 

    your app will be awesome for business travellers . 

    do you feel charging users is necessary ? 

    are you targetting travellers / bagpackers ? 

    can you consider becoming location based quora to widen the use case .
