  1. 1. Crossing the chasm

    2. Built to last

  2. Can’t name 10, but these books are pretty good:

Happiness Delivered by Tony Hsieh. Though it’s a part-autobiography, it’s honest, inspiring and gives valuable insights regarding how to build a great company.

Built to Last and Good to Great are also amazing. Also, do read Purple Cow (Seth Godin). It’s a bible for making products that stand out, even w/o excessive marketing. Read ‘Steve Jobs’ for out and out inspiration.

  4. My favorites:
    1. E-myth

    2. The Goal

    3. Influence: the psychology of persuasion

    4. Linchpin

    5. Maverick

Also have a look at this list:https://personalmba.com/best-business-books/

You can also check blogs by Chris Guillebeau, Seth Godin and others

  5. Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill..

  6. Look at Lean Startup by Eric Rise

  7. Reading books might help, but if you connect with entrepreneurs already into this field and discuss with them, it will help you more!

  8. Here is my list :

    1. E-Myth : Michael Gerber

    2. Differentiate or Die : Jack Trout

    3. Positioning : Jack Trout

4.Business Model Generation : Alexander Osterwalder

    5. Nail it Then Scale it : by Nathan Furr and Paul Ahlstrom

    6. The lean Startup : Eric Ries

    7. Purple Cow : Seth Godin

    8.Spin Selling : Neil Racham

    9.Scientific Advertising : Claude Hopkins

    10. The Toyota Way : Jeffery Liker.

I will add a 11 also : Back of the Napkin only because I find it simple and useful. I am averse to complexity and this was one of the books which tackles this issue.

You cannot avoid mistakes by reading, but you can improve what you have by applying principles and ideas from others.

10 books is a short list, but this should help you start. As Aman said, networking with peers in your industry can top any of the books along with actual experience. All the best.
